Edwin’s Military & East Orange Story
From the Marine Corps to East Orange Real Estate
Edwin Diaz proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and deployed during
Operation Enduring Freedom. He took an oath to protect and serve his country —
and that sense of duty still guides how Helios treats homeowners today.
After coming home, Edwin carried memories that are hard to forget and the responsibility of honoring
friends who never made it back. The Marine Corps engraved honor, integrity, and commitment
into the way he lives and does business.
East Orange became part of that mission. The first investment property Edwin ever bought was in East Orange, NJ.
It was purchased to help military veterans and improve the community — not just to buy another house.
We still own a veteran home on North Grove Street.
That East Orange property was bought during COVID to help provide safe housing for elderly veterans.
It has supported our work with veteran organizations like Community Hope and Soldier On.
